Where to Find the Best Online Sales on Boxing Day

According to the Australian Retailers Association (ASA), Australians spent just over $2.3 billion on Boxing Day last year– $125 million online and the rest in stores.

The ASA predicts that number will rise by 5% this year– up to $2.41 billion. That means a lot more shoppers will be out there, potentially clawing eyes out for that last pair of discounted heels or shorts. It's called Boxing Day for a reason.

For those who find pleasure in flocking to the shopping centres, we admire your dedication. And your stamina.

However, if you crave a little more peace post-Christmas, there is an abundance of online Boxing Day sales ready to be taken advantage of. Hot tip– most stores say their best prices are online.

We've wrapped up the best online Boxing Day sales so you don't have to leave your couch (or get out of your pyjamas).

Let's start from the inside out. Bonds is taking off an incredible 40% everything. Berlei is matching that, also offering 40% off storewide.

  • Get looking at Bonds here (sale ends Monday 2nd January)
  • And Berlei here (ends Tuesday 27th December)

There’s no shortage of bargains in the fashion realm. Online giant ASOS will have to 70% off clothing and accessories for men and women, and although boohoo.com may not be the first place you run to for menswear, you may want to reconsider– the brand has up to 50% off menswear. Otherwise, The Iconic has up to 50% off everything, too.

One of our all-time favourites SurfStitch is repping between 30% and 80% off absolutely everything! That includes swimwear, and summer and winter clothing from brands such as Baku, Element and Swell.

British powerhouse Marks & Spencer has up to 50% off items for men, women and kids, too.

For those a little more budget conscious, head to Cotton On where there is an additional 20% off all items (even ones that are already reduced at up to 70% off), Factorie, which has 40% off everything or Supre where there is 30% off the entire store.

David Lawrence is being tremendously generous, offering 40% off all full price items.

With a bit of time over the new year to hit up the beach, these stores couldn't have put on a sale at a more convenient time. Surf and swim haven City Beach will have up to 50% off all online stock, while Aussie babe Seafolly has 30% off selected items.

Sheridan Outlet is slashing a whopping 70% off all of its Sheridan label items. That includes quilt covers, linen, bath towels and more.

Temple and Webster's sale is also one to look out for, as their collection of furniture and decor will be up to 60% until the end of January.

At Hunting For George, you'll find up to 70% off designer homewares, bedding, rugs prints and more!

The new year calls for new runners. You'll find it hard to look past Reebok, which is stripping an incredible 60% off everything storewide!

Florsheim is also taking up to 50% off selected men's and women's shoes.

And the one we can't wait to jump onto– Nike has up to 40% off all men's and women's clearance items. Ends Saturday 31st December! What a way to wrap up the year.

Here are a few last minute tips from us:

One, look for what you want to buy now. Go to the stores, try it on, and buy it online when it's discounted.

Two– keep an eye out on the social media channels of your favourite brands. You may find more hints about a store's upcoming sale.

Three– we know that even online Boxing Day shopping can be quite the race, but ensure you know what the shipping costs and returns policy are, before you go nuts.
